Michael E. Underwood, Esq. is an experienced attorney who has represented thousands of people in numerous State and Federal Courts throughout New York.

Academics:

Mike Underwood is admitted to practice law in New York and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. A graduate of University of Lynchburg (Virginia) and Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, the largest law school in the US.

Experience:

Attorney Underwood has over 19 years of experience helping clients all across New York State in family law.

In addition, he is a frequent author in the field of matrimonial and family law. He has been featured several times on “Bridge Street” on News Channel 9 and frequently contacted by other local news and media consortiums for information and commentary about the New York Domestic Relations Laws. Mike provides free legal seminars to the Fatherhood with Peace Inc. Program. Mike also volunteers as an Arbitrator for the Syracuse City Court.

Prior to opening the Underwood Law Firm, his previous employment was with well established law firms in Syracuse, New York. Attorney Underwood offers free consultations in an effort to provide everyone with access to legal help.
